United States returns 554 ancient artifacts to Thailand

The ancient potteries are seen at the Ceremony of Artifact Handover from United States of America to Thailand event in Bangkok, Thailand on November 19, 2014. The handover process for the artifacts began in mid 2009. Each artifact collected from the Bowers Museum in Santa Anna, California. The Bowers Museum returns them to Thailand after singing a non prosecution agreement with the US district attorney. The artifacts feature 222 potteries, 197 bronze ornaments, 79 bronze instruments, 35 beads, 11 stone instruments and stone axes and 10 sandstone mold. (Photo by Wasawat Lukharang/NurPhoto)
