Head Of Polish Financial Authority Resigns After Accusations Of Blackmail
The headquarters of Polands Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) is seen in Warsaw, Poland on November 15, 2018. The authoritys chairman Marek Chrzanowski has had to step down after accusations of blackmail by Getin Noble Bank owner Leszek Czarnecki. Czarnecki claims Chrzanowski arranged a private meeting in which he asked 1 percent of the banks market capitalisation in exchange for support and protection.
