Tourism In Eastern Turkey

On 11 November 2018, the remains of King Gagik's church of St Gregory, a structure built between 1001 and 1005, stand near the Turkish-Armenian border, 45 km east of Kars. Ani was historically the Armenian capital and home to nearly 100,000 people, but was repeatedly sacked and destroyed through numerous wars.
