Ihlara Gorge And Valley In Turkey

Ihlara valley with the gorge that goes down approximately 100m and is formed from the water of Melendiz river. The valley housed more than four thousand dwellings and a hundred cave churches decorated with frescoes. Around eighty thousand people once lived in Ihlara Valley.
