Polignano Off During Christmas Season

Polignano Off During Christmas Season. On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, in Polignano a Mare the lights of Salerno were set up to try to attract the flow of tourists, who already normally crowds the town in summer, even in winter. The Christmas event, however, is at the center of the controversy for the installation of turnstiles that regulate access to the historic center on payment of a 5 euro card, which can be converted into 3 tickets for the withdrawal of typical products.Access to the historic center in November was free except for weekends, but during the week the village presented itself with the lights installed but off, a few curious families strolled with their children, admired the attractions but there was that magic, you had to wait for the weekend to be able to turn on, upon payment.
