'Claim The Climate' Huge Demonstration In Brussels
December 2nd, Brussels. A huge national march called “Claim the Climate” took place in Brussels the first Sunday of December. Around 75.000 protesters signaled the importance of limiting climate change to a maximum of 1.5°C. Protesters want to remind Belgium and Europe that they have to conform to climate change commitments and even go further. The 24th Party Conference on Climate Change will start on the 3rd of December, in Katowice in Poland. The protesters hope participants will realize how serious the issue of climate change is. The march departed from the Gare du Nord at midday to arrive at Cinquantenaire Park, where a huge performance took place. (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
