Attempts To Cross The Channel By Migrants Are Increasing
A view of two migrants collecting fire wood near Ouistreham ferry terminal. Since the beginning of December, there has been a huge increase of migrants attempting to cross the Channel by boat. In that regard, refugees are suspected of stealing boats. Only this week, four attempts took place at night, when the ships were moored at the port. Guided by smugglers, 17 refugees managed to steal a boat from Boulogne Port. They were intercepted in Dover by British police. Today, the French authorities said it would fight against this phenomenon. On Friday, December 28, 2018, in Ouistreham, France. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
