Geothermal Power In Iceland
The Reykjanes Power Plant is seen at the southwestern tip of the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland on December 18, 2018. Iceland is one of the most dynamic volcanic regions of the world sitting on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where geothermal activity brings magma and heat closer to Earth’s surface. Geothermal power facilities currently generate 25% of the country's total electricity production. The collection includes a crew , geothermal hot spots, a lighthouse, and a steam energy harvesting plant all against a sunset. (Photo by Patrick Gorski/NurPhoto)
