Agia Roumeli Village In Crete Island, Greece

Sunbeds, umbrellas and the beach in Agia Roumeli, a little village in the southern part of Crete island in Greece facing the Libyan sea. The village is popular as it is remote and the only ways to reach it is by a ferry or walking down Samaria Gorge and the european path E4, as it is the exit of the gorge for those who take the descending route from the north part of Omalos. Agia Roumeli has a crystal clean beach in wild scenery, with some little hotels and tavern, a great and calm place to relax. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
