Alcatel Malware
In this photo dated January 1, 2017, an Alcatel smartphone performs a system dump due to a kernel crash error in Manila, Philippines. A weather app developed by Chinese electronics company TCL Corporation named "Weather Forecast-World Weather Accurate Radar" was reported to have contained malware that surreptitiously subscribed device owners to premium phone numbers behind their backs.
