First People Skating On Natural Ice In The Netherlands

January 22nd, Nijmegen. Around five fearless skaters took the chance to skate in one of the frozen lakes in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. Before skate they tested the thickness of the ice, it was around 4cm, but to skate on ice the thickness of the ice must be around 5cm, in any case, they could skate around the lake avoiding some areas of black ice, (a thin coating of glaze ice on a surface).
