Historic No. 11 Liffey Ferry Returns To Dublin
'Liffey Ferry' crew members are attaching an Irish flag ahead of the official ferry launch event. The historic No 11 Liffey Ferry, the ‘dockers taxi’ that used to link people between the north and south side of the city for more than 300 years, is relaunched again following a 35-year absence. The new service will begin on Monday 11 February, running Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. It can carry 18 people at a time, and those making the trip will pay €2 for each journey. On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in Dublin, Ireland. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
