Rope-way Over Brahmaputra River In Guwahati

Worker busy in construction of India’s longest ropeway over Brahmaputra river, in Guwahati, Assam, Inda on Saturday, 2 February 2019. This ropeway project has been built to connect main Guwahati with North Guwahati, which is scheduled to be flagged off by the month of April this year. The total length of the ropeway will be 2 km. Each cable car passing through this ropeway will have the facility of carrying 30 passengers across the Brahmaputra river, the total travel duration from the lower terminal to upper terminal will be 8 min.
