Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is a Hindu nationalist non-governmental organization based on the ideology of Hindutva. Their objective is to organize, consolidate the Hindu society and to serve and protect the Hindus. During the occasion of their Golden Jubilee celebration a rally was organized which was addressed by their international president Praveen Togadia and Mohan Bhagwat- the chief of the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Kolkata, India, on December 20, 2014.
