Act 14 Of The Yellow Vests Movement
A member of the Observatoire des Patriques Policieres (Observatory of Police Practices) stands near riot police. The OPP check police practices during demonstrations. More than 7000 people took to the streets of Toulouse for the Act XIV of the Yellow Vest movement . It begun peacefully but skirmishes happened rapidly between protesters and riot police. Riot police launched volleys of tear gas canisters and fired rounds of flashballs . The Yellow Jackets movement begun on November 17th 2018 by a protest against the rise of taxes on oil products. The rise of taxes was the detonator of their wrath against French President Macron and his governement and their demand of his resignation.Toulouse. France. February 16th 2019.
