Abrasion Of Palu Bay Beach After The Tsunami In Indonesia
A bicycle lying near the beach that experienced post-earthquake and tsunami abrasion on the coast of Palu Bay, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The abrasion is caused by almost two deep land subsidence meters meters due to the earthquake with magnitude 7.5 on September 28, 2018 and triggered a tsunami. The local government will build a 7.5 kilometer long embankment on the coastline to reduce the impact of abrasion that continues to expand as well as contain the threat of tsunami waves.
