Demo Against Article 13 In Athens

Protest against the implemented EU Copyright Directive (known as ACTA 2.0) in Athens, Greece on March 23, 2019. On September an updated version of the articles 11 and 13 of the Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market were approved by the European Parliament. EU claims that article 11 and 13 aim to protect the copyrights and to bring profits to news outlets, artists and others when social media platforms such as Google, Facebook and others link their work.
