Act 19 Of The Yellow Vest Protest In Toulouse Turns To Skirmishes With Riot Police
A man holds a placard reading 'Safe are full of gold... but wer're only speaking of broken glass'. For the Act 19 thousands of protesters called 'Gilets jaunes' (ie Yellow vests) demonstrated in Toulouse against French President Macron, his government, its policies. They demand fiscal and social justice, more ecology and the RIC (Citizens Initiated Referendum). Riot police used volleys of tear gas canisters to disperse the crowd. After the orders of French Interior Minister Castaner to disperse immediatly the protests, there were numerous people injured by riot police.
