Iranians enjoy fire works in historical Municipality Square in Rasht, Gilan province, Iran, 19 March 2019. during the Wednesday Fire feast, or Chaharshanbeh Soori, held annually on the last Wednesday eve before the Spring holiday of Noruz. Nowruz (Noruz), the Persian New Year is an ancient Zoroastrian tradition celebrated by Iranians and Kurds which coincides with the vernal (spring) equinox and is calculated by the solar calendar.
