Scenery Of Crete Island, Greece

South West coast of Crete island between Agia Roumeli, Loutro and Hora Sfakion, Sfakia with landscape consisted of rough almost vertical rocky hills and cliffs, gorges like Samaria, Aradena etc and the White Mountains or Lefka Ori touching the crystal clean transparent water of Libyan Sea, part of the Mediterranean. The scenery is enriched with some white Christian Churches, little chapels over the sea like Timios Stavros and traditional local fishing boat with fisherman. The area is mostly arid with little vegetation like wild olive trees and bushes. Creta is a popular tourist destination for holidays and outdoor activities.
