Tokalı Kilise Or Buckle Church In Cappadocia, Turkey

Tokalı Kilise or Buckle Church outside of the Goreme open air museum, is a fabulous underground rock chapel with lot of frescoes that show in paint Christian religious events of Jesus Christ life. Upstairs is the New Church and below are the Old Church and carved tombs of Greek Christians. The church complex was recently renovated, it is one of the biggest and finest churches, built in the 10th century. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
