Tailing Dam Padina

Turquoise pond called by the local people The Pond of Death. Actually it is a tailings dam in which the waste waters of large chemical plants are poured out. Established in 1974 year, the dam is located 50 km west of the Bulgarian Black sea city of Varna, Bulgaria and 50 metres to the nearest village of Padina.
