Amman Hindu Temple In Sri Lanka
Figures of Hindu deities adorn the Nainativu Nagapooshani Amman Hindu Temple located on Nainativu Island in the Jaffna region of Sri Lanka. This ancient temple is a significant symbol for the Tamil people and is dedicated to Parvati who is known as Nagapooshani or Bhuvaneswari and her consort, Shiva who is named here as Nayinaar.
