Polish Teachers Suspend Strike Until September

A small group of teachers, activists and members of the opposition gathered in Krakow's Main Square this evening during a protest. Earlier this afternoon, the Polish Teachers' Union (ZNP) suspended an ongoing national teacher strike as of April 27 to enable this year's Matura (secondary school graduation) exams.
