Photo-sensitive cells collecting and storing energy from the sun, on Friday 6th February 2015, which will be turned in to electrical energy in order to illuminate during the hours of dark. -- A street light using solar energy, stored from the sun during daylight hours, to emit light during times of darkness. Solar energy is a renewable form of power. The energy is created when light, from the sun, interacts with the photo-sensitive cells and is then turn in to electricity, to power the street lamp.
