Daily Life In Nicosia, Cyprus
On April 22 2019, the Turkish flag and the Turkish Cypriot flag wave in the wind near the buffer zone fence in Cyprus, Nicosia, or Lefkosa in Turkish, which remains divided by a United Nations green line following the 1974 occupation of Turkish forces in Northern Cyprus. Today, it is a dynamic city with Turkish Cypriots living in it's northern half and Greek Cypriots living in the southern half.
