14th International Marathon Alexander The Great

Snapshots of the last part of the marathon's route passing next to the waterfront, White Tower and the finish line in front of the sculpture of Alexander the Great. The 14th International Marathon Alexander The Great race started and finished below the statue of Alexander the Great. The race route takes place between Pella the Start, the birthplace of Alexander the Great and the historical capital of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon (Macedonia) and Thessaloniki city the Finish line, in Greece on 14 April 2019. The race is an AIMS certified race and there are 5K and 10K races in the city during the same day. The race is one of the largest athletic in Northern Greece. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
