Nebojsja Tower In Belgrade

Nebojsja tower or Kula Nebojša the 15th century built medieval defense tower of the Belgrade or Beograd Fortress. It is on located on the riverbank of the confluence of the rivers Danube and Sava and today is a popular tourist and historic destination and works as a museum. The name of the tower means fearless in Serbian. The Ottomans in 1739 converted the tower to a Dungeon with the most famous captive the Greek revolutionary, poet and writer of the Hellenic National Anthem, Riga Feraios.
