'Yachad' Project Of The Federation Of Russian Jewish Communities At The Major Temple In Rome

Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni and the President of the Jewish Community of Rome Ruth Dureghello meet a delegation of 800 young people from over 50 cities in Russia, led by Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar. The trip takes place within the framework of the 'Yachad' project of the Federation of Russian Jewish Communities, and every year takes place in a different European capital to end in Auschwitz. This year, the choice of Rome, a significant place for Russian refugees after the fall of the USSR, coincides with the 100th anniversary of the birth of Primo Levi.
