Irish Climate Activists Demand Government Action
Activists and school children during a Climate Action protest outside the Irish Parliament in Dublin, demanding an immediate action on climate change, not only talks and declarations. This spontaneous protest came a day after Ireland became the second country in the world to declare a climate and biodiversity emergency. However, when Deputy Ryan from the Green Party brought forward the vote, there were only six TDs (out of 158) in the Dail (Parliament) to adopt the decision.
