In Sao Paulo about 65.000 people has marched in many important avenues of the city such as avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, marginal Pinheiros and avenida Paulista. The demonstration was, once more, called by 'Movimento Passe Livre', asking for the price of the bus fare getting back to R$3 (it's now R$3,20). But people actually was protesting against everything, from corruption to the money spent on World Cup, not forgetting education and health services. At total, 22 big cities in Brasil were mobilized to protest against public transportation raises. In Sao Paolo there wasn't incident clashes police. Yesterday the governor prohibited the use of rubber bullets, and this is believed to be the reason why it was pacific. In Rio, in other hand, there was a big riot and people broke into the State Parliament, put fire in cars, broke into banks. Photo: Gustavo Basso/NurPhoto
