Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee in German) is a small alpine lake located in Val di Braies (a side valley to Val Pusteria) at 1,496 m asl in the municipality of Braies (BZ), about 97 km from Bolzano. The lake is a tourist destination, which attracts for the deep blue color of its clear waters and for the natural scenery in which it is immersed.
