Gunboats that belonged to the LTTE Sea Tigers and were captured by the Sri Lankan armed forces during the end of the of 26-year long civil war between the Sri Lankan Army and the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) are displayed in a area that was a former LTTE base and is now controlled by the Sri Lankan Army in Mullaitivu, Sri Lanka. The Sea Tigers were the naval wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam during the Sri Lankan Civil War. The Sea Tigers sunk at least 29 Sri Lankan small inshore patrol boats and one freighter.
