Daks Over Normandy
Thirty around 30 Douglas planes, C-47 Skytrain and C-53 Skytrooper, mythical planes liberators of the Second World War are exposed at Carpiquet airport, near Caen, during 'Daks over Normandy' event. These planes had for mission to transport the soldiers besides Channel, the 6 of June of 1944. The event bring together owners and pilots from around the world: Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States and even Australia On Friday, June 7, 2019, in Carpiquet, Normandy, France.
