Urban Mobility: Brazil Adopts Rules Against Electric Scooters

Brazilian cities adopt legislation contrary to the use of electric scooters after the increase of accidents and abuses of users of the system. In the cities of Rio and São Paulo, users drop off electric scooters anywhere, disrupting the passage of pedestrians and people with disabilities and also causing accidents. With this, the main Brazilian cities have started to create rules of use that require the use of helmets and even that the users do a test of habilitation to be able to direct the electric vehicles.
