Hong Kong Braces for New Protests as Extradition Bill Suspended

Tens of Thousands take to the streets of Hong Kong to protest the Hong Kong Governments recent proposal of amending the extradition law, the government announced yesterday in a press conference stating that it would suspend the bill , but the pan-democrats stated in a press conference yesterday that they want the government should withdraw the bill entirely , stating that the government could in theory reinstate it whenever it wishes , the bill in debate will allow the transfer of fugitive to China, Macau and Taiwan, over the past week Hong Kong has seen massive demonstration and clashes between police over the bill with Over a million people march in the streets of Hong Kong to voice there concerns on Sunday (9 June) and massive demonstration resulting in police firing tear gas and pepper spray to disperse the crowd (12 June).
