Mauran relatives of Ashu Maurya , a 13 years old girl who died of a rare disease GBS or 'Guillian Barre Syndrome' in Kaudihar village , some 36 kms from Allahabad on June 18, 2019 .Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rare neurological disorder in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks part of its peripheral nervous system—the network of nerves located outside of the brain and spinal cord.India is far behind in GBS research as compared to other countries like USA, as there might be a low case report of GBS in Indian population. Still the research focusing this disease is quite prominent and needs a careful medical attention through research capacity building in order to look for better treatment of the disease in Indian cases.
