Pendem Ambarawa Fortress One of the Dutch colonial relics in Ambarawa is Pendem Fortress Ambarawa whose real name is Fort Fort Willem 1 was built during the reign of Colonel Hoorn namely in 1834 and was completed in 1845, the fort was inhabited by 25 families, they were former prison guards and at the same time cared for and guarded the old building of Fort Pendem.
