Sinabung Volcano
The building houses collapsed due to the eruption of Mount Sinabung (not in picture) in a deserted village, Simacem village, Sumatra, Indonesia on March 1, 2015. The village was abandoned after people were evacuated following a volcanic eruption. Sinabung, among about 130 active volcanoes in Indonesia, has sporadically erupted since 2010 after being dormant for 400 years. More than 22,000 people were evacuated from the area around 2,600 meters (8,530 feet) volcano after the initial eruption in 2014 that killed at least 16 people. Most have returned home, but about 4,700 remain in evacuation centers. to this day activities Sinabung still in a series of threatening after recently had an eruption on February 10.
