The Aftermath Of The Storm In Halkidiki,
Aerial view from a drone of the aftermath of the devastated popular summer destination area of Nea Plagia, Halkdiki in Greece that is in State of Emergency after a heavy and deadly flash storm killed 7 people, 6 tourists from Russia, Czech Republic and Romania and a local fisherman on July 10, 2019. The storm had a duration of 20 min with heavy wind gusts reaching a speed of more than 100km/h. There was an electricity outbreak that still is not restored and fixed, with many hotels having no electricity. The army helped with generators. The area is trying to recover as Nea Plagia, Potidea and Sozopoli in Chalkidiki are famous summer destinations for holidays. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
