Historic Heat Wave Day In Paris
In the foreground, a bare-chested man with long hair throws water into the air with his hair in front of the Eiffel Tower as Paris and France as a whole go through their second heat wave since the beginning of summer, this day of July 25, 2019 has become historic by beating the heat record set in the capital in 1947 by the new temperature of 42.6°C. Faced with the stifling heat of the city, many Parisians and tourists refreshed themselves at the Trocadero fountain where they could swim and relax in the cool. (Photo by Samuel Boivin/NurPhoto)
