Migrating Bedouins Yatta and their suffering
Israeli army notify 8 Bedouin villages - approximately 15 000 people - to leave the places they live in since 1948 and deported to Nu'ayma area in Jericho city. The lands they live on it in Masafer Yatta are Formal properties. Israel's arguments is that the Bedouins living on lands that located in Masafer Yatta are a military training areas and firing zones. Bedouins are barred from access to electricity, water and prevents the provision of such services to them. Bedouin say that the Israeli authorities make life difficult for a lot we moved from our land. Bedouin boys and girls go to other school nearby where they live because to get schools in the places where they live. On most days of the week Bedouins and their kids being harassed by settlers. Israeli settlements increasing slowly. Israeli settlements expanding slowly and become large parts of the territory in which Bedouins live on it. Some Bedouin families live in caves in order to protect their lands after Israeli army destroyed their tents many times before. Areas where Bedouins live in Yatta is an C Area, which is under Israeli control according to the Oslo agreement signed with the Palestinian Authority in 1993. What came in Oslo agreement is Area "C" will transformed into area "A" after years to be a Palestinian area and managed by the PA. Bedouin in the West Bank migrated from Beersheba and Naqab due the wars of 1948 and 1967, and a large part of Bedouins bought lands where they live in the west bank.
