Lago Di Fiastra, Marche, Italy

Lake Fiastra, Marche region, Italy. Lake Fiastra is an artificial lake whose work began in 1955 with the aim of providing electricity in the Valley of Fiastrone and is located in Fiastra in the province of Macerata in the Marche. Its surface area is 2 km². The lake is located within the Sibillini Mountains National Park and is fed by the waters of the Fiastrone river and small smaller tributaries that create charming corners. The lake is very famous for important events such as the "Triathlon of the Sibillini Mountains" or numerous fishing competitions. Its waters are particularly clear and unpolluted. The banks on the left side of the dam are very steep, while the right side is bordered by a cycle path from which you can easily access the lake. Near the lake, continuing along a dirt road that starts from the dam of the lake, you can reach the Red Blades, Italy, on August 12 2019 (Photo by Mairo Cinquetti/NurPhoto)
