Indonesian authorities are deploying thousands of extra personnel to prevent a repeat of the 2015 fires, which were the worst for two decades and choked the region in haze for weeks. The high winds and the difficulty of getting water cause the officers have not put out the fire. Forest fires in Indonesia every year during the dry season. The website belong to Ministry of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia Forest Fire Area stated that the fires that hit Riau Province throughout 2019 reached 30.065,00 hectares that occurred in all districts and cities.
