Plastic Waste Processing In Central Sulawesi

Workers leveled dried PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic waste in the Duta Recycling palette waste processing industry in Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, September 5, 2019. The plastic waste that is processed into semi-finished plastic pellets will then be sent outside the area to be processed back into finished products. The Indonesian government encourages plastic waste processing and recycling efforts to reduce the effects of plastic waste while simultaneously reducing its ranking as the second largest plastic waste producing country in the world.
