Honorary Citizenship To Bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm

Today, October 4, 2019, at the Palazzo delle Aquile, the mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, conferred the honorary citizenship of Palermo to the bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran church Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, characterized by his commitment to the environment and support for NGOs and rescue at sea. The mayor Orlando and the bishop have therefore signed a document of understanding for a greater commitment of the European countries in the Mediterranean.
