Poles To Vote In National Elections On Sunday
A man searches for empty bottles in a trash bin in Bydgoszcz, Poland on October 7, 2019. On Sunday Poles will vote in parliamentary elections. The euroscpetic Law and Justic party (PiS) party is predicted to win with a nearly 45 percent lead in the opinion polls. Generous social spending has largely overshadowed worries of democratic backsliding by many PiS voters though the results are not set in stone. If none of the parties wins an absolute majority it means a broader coalition will have to be formed. (Photo by Jaap Arriens/NurPhoto)
