The Queen And Duke Of Edinburgh Visit Kent
THE QUEEN LOOKS AT THE STATUES Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, visited Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, attended a Service and unveiled two statues to mark The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The Queen and The Duke arrived and went into a private lunch before attending a service at the Cathedral. Following the Service The Queen and The Duke followed the Procession to the Great West Door where they were introduced to the sculptor and stonemasons. The Queen unveiled statues of Her Majesty and The Duke of Edinburgh next to the Great West Door. Following the unveiling the Royal Party will attended a brief reception for staff and supporters before departing
