OXI Day Parade In Athens
People take part at OXI day parade in Athens, Greece on october 28th, 2019. OXI day, or OHI day is celebrated in all the Greek cities, with students' and military parades. It commemorates the rejection by Greece of the ultimatum made by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on 28 October 1940, the Hellenic counterattack against the invading Italian forces at the mountains of Pindus during the Greco-Italian War, and the Greek Resistance during the Axis occupation.
