Truck drivers taking a nap, using their trucks as shade on Apapa road in Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria, on 30 October 2019. Apapa port is a Local Government Area in Lagos, located to the west of Lagos Island, it contains a number of ports and terminals operated by the Nigerian Ports Authority, including the major port of Lagos State and Lagos Port Complex. The port is beginning to force multinational companies out of the country because of the difficulties people go through in doing business and accessing the port, the crisis was seriously affecting the performance of the economy as it had increased the cost of doing business nationwide. The cost of container transport within Lagos has risen from N40,000 to N400,000. Cost of container transport outside Lagos has risen from N60,000 to N600,000. (Photo by Olukayode Jaiyeola/NurPhoto)
